iGPSD Team in BarCamp 2009
We are glad to have joined the Barcamp Hong Kong 2009 on 12th September 2009.

It is our honour to be invited to the ‘iPhone Forum’ section to share ideas on Location Based Service (LBS) and the experiences in iPhone GPS developments (iGPSD).

We have also introduced the Balsamiq Mockups software in our ‘Extreme Fast mockup using Balsamiq Mockups’ presentation. Demo pictures and videos were presented to demonstrate how to create software mockups by just a few clicks and drags.

Our audiences included developers, designers, project coordinators and consultants, and we have received excellent feedbacks from them. We are also delighted to have received the sponsor licenses to our audiences in the luckydraw.
Cable for replacement has been shipped out on Last Friday ( 21/ 8 )
For the connection problem cables, we have already shipped the replacement cable by air mail. Update on IGPSD cable with iPhone 3.0 support
Since the last summer we have started selling the IGPSD cable, we have helped thousands of iPod Touch and iPhone 2G users enjoy the real GPS. With our software partner xGPS provides the latest software update, our cable can now working on iPhone 3.0 with AppStore Application awarded GPS location based service.
We will post more detail about how to install the xGPS software later on, and we are truly thanks for all our customers support to make all this happen.
We have also notified that a small amount of users report the cable is not functioning as expected. We have studied the cases and found out that it is due to the manufactory has connected the cable wrongly when production. If you have received your cable by end of July and have problem on getting the iPhone/iPod Touch sync to the computer, please feel free to contact us, we will offer free replacement for you. Beta testing the latest GPS program with route and navigation
We have partnered with a well know ODM GPS software company as their dedicate hardware partner. They have passed their latest iphone software for our beta testing. Currently it would be for Hong Kong only. But once the software becomes more stable, it will be able to extend to worldwide.
For those have interests on testing this software, please leave comment in this post. We will arrange the beta tester once the application close to ready for sale.

Currently, we have partnered with xGPS team for the iPhone GPS software solution, and this partnership are not affected. We are welcome developers all over the world to join with us to develop different kind of iPhone application by making use of our hardware.
iPhone version 2.0 navigation with freemap ( for Israel )
Freemap team has released a new version that work with IGPSD and it can be use within Israel. Our dearest friend Elad has taken a demo video for us to show some of the latest feature. If you are living in Israel , and you have no idea what Freemap is, you can have a watch of this video.

I have installed the latest xgps software and using the gps cable that we produce to take the latest demo video.
For the latest software, it support 2G and 3G iphone running in iPhone 2.0 or above. No GPRS or 3G signal is required when using (with the map already download to iphone) , and no longer a dropping pin to update, and the map you need can download and store in your iphone before you go. Everything you get in GPS Live! , will be much better in xgps software.

iGPSD Team in BarCamp 2008
It was a great day for iGPSD team as we have joined Barcamp Hong Kong 2008. It is the first public event iGPSD joined since establishment. As guess speaker in sharing session, we have shared ideas on Location Based Service (LBS), social networking, and what are the benefits for LBS to go social networking.
We have also introduced our NEW EXCITING project – Walkamap in the session! Walkamap is the key project on iPhone to provide LBS with intensive social community function. Few mock up images are presented to demonstrate how Walkamap will work.
In the session, audiences have raised lots of question on technical difficulties and business model of Walkamap.Thank you for all ideas generated and shared, we have learn a lot and have new thoughts on how to improve current Walkamap model.
