Yes, for the air mail is $10, but it is not traceable , so cannot tell how many days would it spend. but normally should be within 5 days.

Do the cable work only on holux GPS device?

currently it is only work with Holux with 236, 240, M1000b, M1200
and in future , we will build the GPS module that plugin iphone directly like the one that show in this video

The Holux 241 doesn’t have the required signal that is used by iphone , so you cannot use it with the iphone

Hike reports “no device connected” when indeed there is a device with a gps fix connected.

did you running the iGPSD at the same time ? as the iGPSD logger will use the serial port , so Hike.app cannot use with iGPSD at the same time, may be you can try to reboot the iphone , and run Hike.app only

it looks like that the built-in MAPS software works only if i’m in the range of Wi-Fi or EDGE. what if i’m completely offline, like in the middle of a desert? what map software can i download in my iphone?
For a full car integration, I want an interface that is available for my car and evidently uses the serial port to control an iPod/iPhone via the normal FM radio head. So, at first I tought that this would not collide with the iGPSD cable, as Hollux states on their website that the M1000b is a USB device. Above however, I found one comment stating that the communication is effected via the serial port, so that it would not be possible to combine this device with the iPod / tuner interface also connected to the serial port.
Cane someone please enlighten me? Thanks a lot!!!

After further investigation, I found out myself in the negative, so that I now pledge for the use or development of a USB device in the future, being aware of the fact that this has to be a USB master, sigh.
But do not forget that a lot of people intend to use the iPhone for navigation and as an iPod alike withour permanent replugging.
